Commercial flooring & interior finishes
Flooring, carpet, window coverings and exterior shading for offices, retail and other commercial interiors.
By appointment. At your project location.

Specify around the business
Offices, shops, reception areas and hospitality spaces do not all use their floors in the same way. We discuss footfall, wheeled furniture, cleaning, opening hours and the condition of the building before proposing finishes. The design should support the business while keeping maintenance and replacement practical.
Room and area schedules help distinguish entrances, circulation routes, workspaces and customer areas. We can consider PVC / LVT, carpet and carpet tiles for suitable applications, with curtains, blinds and exterior shading included where they form part of the project brief.
Flooring that fits the actual use
A wood, stone or textile appearance is only the beginning of a commercial specification. Product selection also considers wear, the substrate, the installation system and any required fire, acoustic or slip-performance documentation. Requirements should be checked for the exact product and assembly.
Carpet tiles may offer a modular finish in offices and other suitable environments. LVT can provide a range of layouts, including straight plank, herringbone and tile designs. Setting-out, cutting allowances and transition details are agreed around the chosen layout and the building’s geometry.
Preparation, thresholds and finishing
Before installing a new finish, we assess the existing base for flatness, moisture and stability. Removing old coverings, dealing with adhesive residues and levelling can affect both scope and programme. The proposal records the preparation included rather than hiding it behind a single material price.
Doorways, accessible routes, skirting and changes between floor types need a coordinated detail. Fixed counters and furniture can affect sequencing. We agree who moves equipment and furniture, which areas must stay clear and how the work connects with other contractors.
Window coverings and solar control
Curtains and blinds can help manage daylight, privacy and glare on screens. We review the glazing, orientation, room use and operating method, with final measurements taken against the actual openings and fixing positions. Where documented fabric performance is required, this is checked before ordering.
Exterior screens and roller shutters can be considered alongside the interior finishes. Façade provisions, mounting surfaces, power routes and maintenance access need review. A consistent appearance across the building is useful, but each opening must still suit the selected system and its operating limits.
Work around opening hours
Commercial refurbishment often needs phased access. We discuss deliveries, storage, work zones and possible out-of-hours installation around the business programme. A short closure window is reviewed against preparation, product availability and curing time before dates are agreed.
Send the location, plans, approximate areas, photographs and intended use of each space. Include your target reopening date and any project specifications. We work by appointment at the project location and define materials, preparation, installation and finishing in the agreed proposal.
Before we begin
Questions for your project.
Can installation take place outside opening hours?
Out-of-hours work can be discussed after checking access, the scope and the preparation and curing requirements.
Can an existing floor be covered?
That depends on the substrate and selected system. An assessment determines whether removal, repairs or other preparation is needed.
Can one package include shading and curtains?
Yes, suitable services can be coordinated in one agreed scope, with their own measurements and installation requirements.
From specification to installation
Let’s plan the finishing work.
Share your location, plans, required services and target dates. We can discuss the scope and arrange an appointment at your project location.
